Experience Coastal Japan

Welcome to Baymore House: A Portal to the Coastal Serenity of Boso Peninsula.

Baymore House is officially open and available for 30-day residential leases.

Located just 75 minutes on a direct express train from Tokyo Station, Baymore House in Isumi, Chiba is designed as a physical extension of the San Francisco Bay Area—a "Bay-more"—offering the space and stillness required for deep work and deeper rest.

In Japanese, the phonetic "Bei" (米) represents the United States, but the character itself signifies Rice. Here in Isumi—a region celebrated for its pristine harvests from land and sea—we embrace this duality. Baymore House is where the abundance of the West meets the rhythmic, seasonal soul of Japan.

A Minimalist Sanctuary for the Modern Nomad

At Baymore House, architecture is the focal point. In a world of clutter, we offer a 6DK (six rooms plus dining and kitchen) layout that prioritizes breathability and Japanese craftsmanship.

From the statement traditional rooms to the quiet precision of carefully jointed wooden corners, the house serves as a canvas for your thoughts.

The Traditional Suite

The heart of the home is our traditional washitsu. Featuring authentic tatami flooring and intricate ranma (transom) carvings, this space transitions seamlessly to a private yard. It is a room designed for the "blue hour"—that quiet moment between finishing a day of remote work and walking to the sea.

The Shrine

Take a meandering walk by the cove to the region’s highest point to visit the local Shinto shrine. Historically dedicated to bringing sailors safely home, it now serves as a place of panoramic reflection for those navigating modern journeys.
